The work was created for the open call for the Kudryavets Museum and reflects the historical and architectural heritage of this district of Kyiv. The collage incorporates elements of an outbuilding located near the famous “Kudryavets Estate” mansion, commissioned by Mazyukevych. This outbuilding was designed in the Ukrainian Modern style by the prominent architect Vasyl Krychevskyi. The work symbolizes the fusion of past traditions and the present, adding special significance to the cultural context.

Krychevskyi, as the founder of Ukrainian National Modern architecture, left a profound mark not only on the formation of the city’s architectural identity but also on the development of Ukrainian culture as a whole. The collage conveys this intergenerational connection, emphasizing the importance of preserving architectural monuments in today’s urban environment.

Created using my own photo documentation, the collage brings authenticity and a personal perspective to the historical context. Through the combination of architectural details and symbolic elements, I sought to embody the spirit of Kudryavets, revealing its multifaceted nature and cultural significance for Kyiv.
